Home2 Suites in Effingham, IL Celebrates Grand Opening

The Home2 Suites by Hilton Effingham recently celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony sponsored by the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce. The event took place on November 7, 2024, at the hotel’s location on 1201 N Raney St, Effingham, IL. The hotel officially opened for guests on October 8, 2024 after ~14 months of construction.
The new Home2 Suites by Hilton Effingham is a modern, eco-friendly extended-stay hotel that offers 97 spacious guest rooms, each fully equipped with kitchens, workspaces, and living areas. The hotel is designed to meet the evolving needs of travelers seeking modern comforts and conveniences. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a sparkling indoor pool, free breakfast, free WiFi, and a Spin2 Cycle–Laundry and Fitness Facility.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was followed by a Business After Hours event, providing an excellent opportunity for local business leaders and community members to network and celebrate the new addition to Effingham’s hospitality landscape.
