MHG Closes Sale of Six-Property Hilton Portfolio to Chatham Lodging Trust

McHugh Hospitality Group has completed the sale of a six-property, 589-room Hilton select-service and extended stay portfolio to Chatham Lodging Trust (NYSE: CLDT). The transaction closed on March 3, 2026.
The portfolio comprises two Home2 Suites, two Hampton Inn & Suites, and two Homewood Suites located in Effingham, IL; Paducah, KY; and Joplin, MO — positioned along the I-57, I-70, and I-44 corridors and supported by durable demand drivers across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and regional tourism.
